Re: Marianne- hiatal hernia

Marianne, I think you meant to say your adhesions are not in your "upper" abdomen and not that they aren't in your abdomen at all, right? I think you meant they are all in your "pelvis" or "lower abdomen" is this correct?

If they go in to do the hernia (under rib-cage) the holes are high in the abdomen and can't get to the pelvis from there. If they operate on the pelvic adhesions the holes are at the belly button and below and can't see or get to the hernia in upper abdomen. I had just conferred with Dr. Redan in February on this. I had my adhesion surgery elsewhere in May and he also couldn't see or get to the hiatal hernia because the adhesions were in my lower abdomen (pelvis) and all the slits are at and below my belly button.

Maybe he thought you were talking about a hernia of the lower abdomen and not a hiatal hernia, there is a big difference? JEAN

Jean...Well, my e-mail expressed the locations of the adhesions, which were not in the abdomen.???? HHHHMMMM...what you say makes sense logically...do you think they use different techniques? Guess you've given me something else to ask him about. Thanks for the input Jean. Love, Marianne --- Jean Long <creative@enter.net> wrote: > Marianne,
