Janet,

Thank you for the reply. I am glad you are better. Having problems like this makes us understand how important even to be better is even if it isn't a "cure".

Did you have to make several trips to Pennsylvania, first visit, surgery, follow-up etc or was everything done in one visit? My husband is from Denver so I have been there several times but now it is a huge adventure to go to the store.

I don't have the intestable problems people describe. Everyone tells me that it is nerve pain. I feel the nerve must be trapped in the scar tissue. Plus I think maybe my peritoneal (?spelling) may be bound in my scar as there seems to be pulling there.

Do you think those doctors would work on entrapped nerves too or should that be a neurologist? I don't even know if a neurologist does surgery.

Thanks for the e-mail. Do they really answer? I got an e-mail address from the doctor at U of Michigan. He didn't answer it, or fax, or US Mail. They don't return calls and told me not to come to my next appointment and they would tell me who to see next. Of course, they never called back.

Oh well, I have taken enough of your time.

Keep getting better and thanks again.
