Hi Kelly,

I suggest you find a physiotherapist who specialises in pelvic floor, at least deals with this problem regularly, and has successfully helped her patients. The Gyno discovered how strong mine are when she was doing an internal exam.

I also worry about odor too, and I also find that when my pain is at a very high level, I have the urge to urinate quite frequently. I get up 6 to 8 times a night to empty mine...it is soo tiring & frustrating. To solve the odor problem, I have started to wear panty shields, which I change regularly. If I think I can detect the odor...I just duck into the bathroom & replace the shield with a fresh one.

I have also had problems with leaking when I stand up etc....I had a very large cyst which was pushing into my already meager bladder.....making the urge more frequent again! After the cyst was drained, the urgency returned to approx every hour instead of 10 to 15 minutes!

I hope this helps you, best wishes love, hugs & cheers

Jo
