Hi Sweetie:

Glad you liked the joke ;)

About that intern, I hope she soon learns to appreciate when a patient is self-medicating to obtain effective pain relief while staying below the maximum dosage prescribed. My GP's biggest concern about putting me on narcotics was the possibility of abuse and addiction. She (the GP) is happy that I am staying under the max, getting pain relief when and how I need it, and not abusing the "privilege" she has given me. She was extremely pleased when she asked if I needed another script to get me through until my next follow-up and I told her I thought I had enough. She started me out at 1 or 2 4 times a day, and gave me a script to get me through a month at 4 per day (I ended up taking 6 per day part way through that month), then a month at 9 per day since August 29th, and I still have sufficient meds to get me through until October 29th, so she knows from that that I am not abusing my meds.

Hope you are having a good day. Mine has been better than the past few ;)
