But if you really want to make the doctor think - try permanent markers in different colors for the different types of pain - directly on your skin. Then lift your shirt, drop your waistband, and say "OK, blue is for constant, stabbing pain, red is for sharp., intermittent pain, green is a new one that just started the other day...."
I had never thought of the digital body photos, but that is a really good idea. You are a smart cookie!
