Dear Jeanne

Welcome to the adhesions board, we are a very friendly bunch and understand pain, frustration, desperation, fear and anything associated with this dreadful health issue.  You said in your email, that Pam was the only one you had anything in common with, I beg to differ slightly, you have adhesions, which is is what makes us all "stick" together.

We try very hard here not to say who is suffering more, or is worse off.... our pain is a reality to each individual.  It interferes with our lives, social, marriage or partnership, family, children, professional (work) etc...in these things we all have a common denominator - pain - it changes everything we do and how we look at ourselves & our lives.

There are others who have a colostomy, Karla is another who springs to mind.  We are here to support one another, sympathize, understand, offer friendship, support and advise based on our own personal experiences with adhesions.

I hope you continue to visit us here on the board, please add your story to the adhesions quilt, and don't be shy,  we just want to help.

Love & gentle warm hugs

Jo (Australia)
