Sally from Jean

Sally, I haven't tried or had the time to read up on web-designing yet. My son keeps telling me I should do that but I don't know anything about it right now. I design things but not for use on the web as of yet. He says I do all of it except the part of putting it on a site.

One of these days I must give it a whirl since even amateur friends of mine have done it, but I think they are just doing it from programs which do most of the work for them and all you do is select from their options and choices given. I want to be able to make my own HTML files and link them etc. which I haven't read about or experimented with yet.

I don't even have one for my business because I don't want to pay for it (LOL), and you can't get them for free with a business. I have vendors who offer ready-made sites which show all the products that I sell and prices but that is for a substantial yearly fee. I am sure you are aware of the costs. I advertise the cheap way.......with my yard sign and word of mouth work good for me, occasionally in a program book or something! I am also in one phone book.

Your site looks nice. JEAN

An understanding friend is better than a therapist.... and cheaper too!

Dear Jean, yes and no, all of the material and ideas were mine but, my "expert" did it all. We had three sessions of arguing about what was good, possible, practical, etc. It needs updating, but I've lost "my man" Any ideas?? Hint/ Hint? LOve, Sally
