Hi there, I recently had my 2nd attempt at removing adhesions through
laprascopic surgery after having a hyst almost two years ago. I have
major right lower quadrant pain, pain with bowel movements and walking
or any physical activity. After this procedure it was found that my
colon was tethered to my pelvic sidewall (which was released) and that I
had extensive adhesions on my left side on my bowel which could not be
removed laparascopically, my dr decided to leave them as this wasn't her
area of expertise. I have had improvement in my pain and she said we
should leave it if we can but if we have to go back in, it will be an
open procedure with a general surgeon on hand. I am worried that such
extensive adhesions were left....what can I hope for down the road?
