This is my first time posting, so if I don't do this right please be
patient. My name is Lynda and I live in Indiana. Six weeks ago I went
in for a minor laporscopic procedure, six hours later I came to only to
discover an incision from my naval to my pubic bone and another from one
hip accross to the other. Further investigation revealed a
colostomy!!!!
When I came out of my morphine induced coma my Dr.told me that she had
never seen such adhesions in an abdomen and my bowel was so friable when
she seperated it, it perfed, hence the colostmy which I am having
reversed at the end of Dec. I'm just now getting over the anger and
depression of the surgery. I'm only 36 years old and this was the
second time I've been lysed.
Anyway I just wanted to tell my story and I would love to hear from
others. I'm getting scared about the next surgery.
Thank you,
Lynda
