Collette, Where do you live now? Are you still in the Massachusetts area? I do know some good doctors here. I would not be surprised if you had fibro. I have fibro with the MPS. Having Fibro is so frustrating, thankfully they are making progress with their findings, still has a while to go but I feel they will eventually come up with at least a set of medications and treatments to ease people. May not ever be able to cure it but treat it properly is all I ask. Fibro causes any condition you have to be intensified, I truly feel for anyone who gets dxed with fibro. unfortunately most people who suffer with chronic pain wide up having fibro. Women with gyn problems are another ones who are at higher risk for fibro. There are some connections they just don't have it all linked together yet. And many of the findings you will say to yourself ahhhh now that makes sense. You will be amazed going through the conditions that can go with fibro there are over a 100 sub symptoms you can have and some days feels like you have almost all of them going on at once not easy.. I know some who have taken the depo/provera and did ok on it and others no. Unfortunately medications is one of those things what works for one may not for another. Remember after you start the drug if it just doesn't feel right with you let the doctor know there are so many alternatives out there that one might be the right one for you. Tonight hubby and I were sitting down trying to figure out the Santa Claus thing this year with little money its very stressful. Some how we always seem to put on a nice Christmas for our kids, so I am just hoping something will bend somewhere and I will be able to do it this year again.. Hugs Kim
