I believe that my Dr. put that or something like it....(a mesh type of
thing). He put that around my lower bowels to keep adhesions from forming.
I had NO side affects. I didn't even know it was there. I can tell you
though, that it did not prevent adhesions from forming. If anything, they
are worse....sorry! :( Everyone is different though and maybe it will work
