Period following lap

Hello all -
I've posted here a couple times before, and have another question!
Is there a general idea how long it takes after a lap for a "normal"
period?
I had lysis of adhesions mid-October and was on my period then. I'm now
in the middle of my 2nd full period since the lap and am still
experiencing significant pain (not severe, but Advil didn't work and I'm
on Vioxx now for relief.) during the cycle, plus the 2 periods since the
lap have been quite a bit longer than normal for me.
Any input? I'll be seeing my surgeon for a check up next week, but
thought I'd see what the general opinion is....
