Dr. Diamond specializes in a field that involves adhesions and he feels that they don't cause much pain? If that is the case I would stay as far away from him as possible. Technically he is right. It is not the adhesion that is painful. It is what the adhesion is attached to and how it pulls that causes the pain. We need to insist that these doctors recognize our pain. Lisa, why don't you arm yourself with the materials that are in the archives of the adhesion website regarding adhesions and pain. Go to your appointment planning on educating this doctor. Perhaps he can be convinced that he is wrong. If he can't...I would suggest avoiding him.
