My sister had gall bladder surgery on Jan 2, her first in 46 years! Fortunately he was able to do it laparoscopally, though it took him 2.5 hours! I spent a day and half in the hospital with her and am now very tired and sore. But, she's always been there for the rest of us, so I think it well worth the pain.
