Hello and welcome to the board. I am not a doctor, only an adhesion
sufferer...I had surgery to take down adhesions, during that surgery the
doctor nicked my bowel in several places so exactly seven days later was back
into surgery to try and fix the places that were cut, the surgeon said my
adhesions were already back with a vengeance....then unforturnately they had
to go back in again seven days later and I was just a mess, the doctor
described my insides "intestines, adhesions" as wet toilet paper. Luckily
that was almost three years ago and now I am ok, just live with this constant
pain and pulling but I will NOT ever have surgery again unless it is for
something life threatening.
