Hello Sue,

I felt the need to respond to you, your description sounds so very familiar! I too had lysis of adhesions (last October) for left ovary attached to sigmoid colon and pelvic sidewall (as well as the right one to appendix, cecum and pelvic sidewall). In my case no endo was found, they blame PID (although the infection source has never been pinpointed, no STD).

I feel like I'm almost back to where I was before surgery, epsecially in my rt. ovary, but in addition I'm now experiencing rectal "pressure" and low back discomfort every time I sit (not severe, and it does ease after several minutes). I suspect my sigmoid colon is involved again, because additionally I have increased sitting discomfort and left low back pain until I have a bowel movement after which it eases up considerably. A few weeks ago, just before my period, I had an hour long episode in which it was very painful to sit or walk because of the rectal pain and I was very nauseous.

I have an appointment scheduled with my gyn next week, I'm hoping to get some answers to what my body is doing....I hope you find some relief or therapy that works for you!

Take care, Libby
