I have used the duragesic patch before. It worked great, but I still
needed meds for break through pain. I started out on the 50, went to
the 75, and did try the 100, but, it didnt seem to be much better than
the 75. The only problem I had was after surgery when I didn't need it
any more, I kinda had a hard time comming off of it. I went down
gradually to the 25, but after 2 days, I just quit using them & had
severe leg spasms. I couldnt sleep because of them for about a week
because of it. Every time I laid down, my knees would start jerking. I
was find during the day when I was up & walking, but the min I stoped,
they would start again. Please remember, this is just my experience &
may not affect you the same way. But, when it came time for more 24
hour pain meds, I did choose something different.
