Thanks for the reply. I did some searches on this and wasn't thrilled
about it. I thought I was going to a more "holistic" thinking PM
center, but I think this doc thinks his "procedures" are the end all. He
said he does hundreds a week! From what I read, they don't always help,
if they do help, they may not last long, and there can be nasty
complications. Given my history of strange reactions, I don't hink I
want to chance it. They put a very long needle by your spine and past
you main arteries. I know nothing inside me is where it is supposed to
be and am afraid they'll miss!
After seeing how long people are waiting for PM visits though, I feel
very grateful to have gotten in in only 2 weeks. There is another PM
center in Boston that does procedures but also claims to have a great
Alternative & Holistic practice too. I don't relish the drive or cost
of going into Boston, but may try it.
