I'm about 9 days late with my reply, but was not feeling well. Anyway,
regarding your question about the oxy and if others are taking anything else
with it, I've seen many here say that they are also taking something else for
what is called breakthrough pain. I was taking the oxy with tylox and it
really helped. I just asked to be switched because I had been on the tylox
so long and this is the only thing that could damage my liver. Roxycodone is
another opiod that I've seen prescribed, which is what he changed me to. It
is all trial and error, and what your PS is willing to prescribe.
