Dearest Gloria,
I also have small bowel adhesions. I can try to explain what my docs are
doing and it has kept me away from the ER. I am on Robinul Forte to keep
paristalsis going and surfax for stool softening. I go to Pain mangement for
pain pills and they do a treatment called Matrix which is not really
releiving the pain but it does help with bowel movements> I no longer have
the long spagetti type stools. The best advice is to find yourself a
wonderful PM doc to work for you. That may help avoid the NG tube experience
I know that is not a good feeling.
