First of all, I'm terribly sorry for the loss of your son. I simply
cannot imagine the depth of your grief...
I think you should not worry, though, that he might have had adhesions.
You see one of the many mysteries of adhesions is that fully 90% of the
people who have them have no symptoms or problems at all, and as for
people who have very serious pain it is probably less than 1%. (Bet you
didn't know you were a member of such a rarefied elite!) And even of
people who have problems it is common that there is an interval of years
before the problems show up. I had a c-section 8 years ago, and didn't
start to have pain until about a year ago. (Although I suspect several
vague little intestinal problems, and posterior baby I had in a grueling
vbac 4 years ago, might have been caused by adhesions.) Plus there is
the fact that you are the mom, and I'm sure that you would have known
because moms just know these things.
