Because of recent discussions about money, and Drs. Reich & Redan not
accepting insurance, I was wondering a hypothetical question:
If you have adhesions, and you sue the surgeon who gives them to you,
could you explicitly ask for enough money to cover adhesiolysis? Now if
you got the surgeon's malpractice insurance company to settle, it would
have been an out-of-court settlement, and would have probably included a
gag order, so this is a totally hypothetical situation. So does anybody
out there have some hypothetical opinions -- are some of the people
having adhesiolysis surgery in Scranton paying for it from the proceeds
of their settlement?
