I have a similar problem. I have Fitz-Hugh-Curtis Syndrome and
adhesions throughout my abdomen from PID many years ago. I still have
intermittent bad pain from FHC, but I also have bloating and bad
discomfort when I ovulate. For about a day, not nearly as long-lasting
as you, I can hardly walk because it hurts from my navel down through my
butt. Bowel movements almost send me to hospital. I also feel a lot
better after menstruation, but go downhill during ovulation. Advil has
helped me - people have suggested acupuncture which I haven't done yet
for this. My take -there's not much info on what to do for adhesions
besides surgery - and w/ that it seems like you go on a rollercoaster -
I'm trying to figure out alternatives & it's distressing.
