Hi Libby:

I too get similar symptoms, only I have the nausea, bloating etc every day, and the severe pain build up over a two to three week period. I don't know if it's related to a partial obstruction or not - I uaed to think it was, but I seem to make it through okay so now I try not to worry about it. I wish I could be more informative, but at least you know that others have the same thing occur.

My doctor just put me on an antispasmodic med, so if it works I'll let you know. I'm having trouble taking it as it makes me too groggy to work, so for now I'm not taking it three times a day - just at night. I may try cutting the pills in half and see if I can tolerate that. I hope you get the answers to your questions. Best wishes.
