Could this be a partial obstruction?

Folks,

This weekend I had what I thought was the flu...very bad stomach cramps, abdominal cramps, vomiting, occasional diarrhea (some blackish, some not), a hig fever (102.7). Could not keep down even water and have very sore ribs and abdomen from the vomiting. It felt like I was not only bringing up what little I had from breakfast, but dinner from the night before and then just the water, but it tasted like some bile was in there (sorry to be soooooo graphic).

But here's the kicker, after the vomiting/diarrhea stopped...no fever, at all! The only pains I now have are the usual (and the extra sore ribs/abdomen). Could a partial obstruction cause a high fever, or did I just have an EXTREMELY short version of the flu?

Has anyone experienced something like this?

Thanks and pain-free hugs to all, kcmo rose
