Dear Helen D:
I spoke to an attorney about suing a doctor for not warning me about the possibility of getting adhesions because I had been cut 3 prior times and his answer was "adhesions are a fact of life, and you can't sue for this." Fact of life yes, but they should have to tell you the risks and this should be changed and listed as one of the risks of surgery right on the form you have to sign with all the other risks.
