Dear Jaynie, I have great faith in Chinese herbs, unfortunately the faith is
based on the fact that I am sure they contain ingredients of great power,
but we don't know yet what that power is. Therefore I stay away from them. I
personally don't think a person should mix Chinese and American medicine.
Chinese medicine may hold many cures, but it needs to be studied using the
scientific method. Or you can just trust the Chinese doctor and go for it.
Again, I can't give medical advice, I'm just a fellow sufferer, but I do
know that they are strong and a lot of people in Mendocino County use
Chinese medicine, sometimes with startling results, ie. boils, rashes, etc.
