I would like to caution everyone that is on the Duragesic patch to be very alert. I was on the 100mg patch for quite some time. I had gradually worked up to that over a period of time. One day my blood pressure totally crashed..and as you know, I have extremely high blood pressure, andit severely decreased my respirations to the point that I wasn't getting anywhere near enough oxygen. That is one of the biggest side effects of the drug. I would be very careful. It was a wonderful drug until that point.
