Hi Nancy,

Thank you so much for passing on the great news about Colette, if you read this Colette, I am proud of you! Way to go my friend, positive thinking, a little exercise and a visit here for hugs, love and undertsanding.... I am doin well to, I have even washed up, washed & hung out the clothes, dusted and a few other simple things, but the best thing as far as the family is concerned is that I am cooking again! LOL Tonight we had stuffed checken beast with honey and crushesed macedamia nuts....and naked in the oven, with mashed potato, and steamed zuccinni's, carrots and peas.... the sigh's, the ooooo's and rrrrrr's tell me that they are enjoying the meal and the silence because evryone is too busy enjoying the food for conversation! LOL

I must admit that I only have one speed, and that's full throttle ..... hehehhe so I do tend to crash and have major pain days that take a looooong time to get the pain back down to a tolerable level *smile*

I have to say that until I collapsed in the hospital foyer two months ago now!! I didn't realise how much pain I was living with! I have noticed it more now, because I have good days that I can compare the bad days to..... and I have discovered that for me, my really bad days, I sit quietly (totally out of character for me I might add!) and I wonder if I really in pain, because I think, well it feels like my body is numb..... does that make sense to anyone else? Does anyone else have that feeling on really bad days?

I also feel so different in my upper abdo area it is amazing! I didn't know I had adhesions up there & it is the area where I feel the most change, I have very little pain there at all, except where I was grabbed by the seatbelt & where I was thrown back against the seat.... I had it reclined, because sitting is still one of my problem areas.

I hope you continue to improve Colette, because having surgery after surgery is nerve wracking isn't it :-) Let's hope we are the start of us all getting well ;-)

Love & gentle hugs, Jo
