Millie, Yes I am distended, but not vomiting and just queasy at times. I had a hystorectomy in1998 then the obstructions began. It wasn't until a really bad one ended me up in emergency surgery in June 2000 that they confirmed what I already knew, adhesions. That was the trip to the ER that was a nightmare,horrible pain and vomiting. They tried to put an ng tube in, first they spary something in your throat and tell you to swallow while they try to insert a tube through your nose and down the back of yur throat. I went crazy. Crying sceaming, told them I couldn't do it. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. When I woke up in my room after the surgery I had an ng tube. They will have to put me under to do it again. I'm going to call my doctor re: this constipation, no better this morning. I'm miserable Meg
