LOL!!! I always burped my kids by sitting them on my leg facing toward my outer thigh and holding their chin in my hand. This always seemed to work best for them and then we could cutz on the floor instead of on me (LOL)!!!

LOL! I am trying to visualize this....just how do they manage to lay you over their shoulder??? lol Of course, when I used to burp my daughter I used to lie her over my legs. Now that would work.
