Dear Honey, All I can say is read, read, read the quilt. What you learn may save you some unnecessary surgery. It sounds like adhesions but I am not a Dr. You know your body and don't let anyone tell you what you are feeling is in your head. There are people here with so much information it is staggering. Let us know what the Dr says but be careful and listen and don't be bamboozled by the quick fix. Your friend, Jan

Hi I'm 23years of age and from Australia,i can't believe that I came across this site, i will definately be kissing my girlfriends arse when i see her! Anyway, i have had a burst appendix when i was 14yrs old and a major bowel obstruction at 16yrs of age. At 19yrs of age i had a laproscopy and had some adhesions removed! The specialist said that they had formed a cob web all over my abdominal region and that hey had to curetee the inside my uterus! Well i had relief for almost a year and they came back, I know that it's adhesions, i just know what my body is feeling! I have seen 3 different specialist and the fist one told me that i need to do more sit ups and strengthen my abdominal muscles? The second one gave me tablets that help give relief to people who suffer from IBS! The third did a trial on the contraceptive pill to figure out wheteher I had endometriosis, and without fail after three months of taking the medication- yes it helped manage my painful periods but not the pelvic pain that I feel every single day! Sorry this is so long! He has referred me off to a pelvic specialist who only deals with pnts who suffer from adhesions! The appoitments in 2 weeks i have waited 2 months almost! I can't remember who's letter i was reading but like they said can't they do a laproscopy to see what's going on inside first? They tell me more surgery will make things too difficult with the massive scaring that is on my body! What to do- i can't think of how i'm going to cope with life- sex suckx because it hurts soo much and so does normal day to day excersising -I fell all TANGLED up inside!PLEASE HELP I NEED SOME ADVICE!
