Dear Sally, Thanks so much for your email. I will definitely tell my sister to sign herself onto this website as soon as she gets home from the hospital. The only problem is that my sister is not a very motivated person. She needs a push and, unfortunately, she lives about an hour from me and I work all day. Me, on the other hand, will do what needs to be done to get the help she needs. It will take some "pushing" on my part but I'm willing to do it. Tomorrow the plan is that her doctor is going to go in and "stretch" her intestines in the hope that she will be able to keep food down. He doesn't want to operate because he understands that will only lead to more adhesions. I will keep you posted. Do you have any information on support groups in Staten Island, NY? I appreciate all of the advice, prayers and support all of you have given me.
