Wanted to let you know that Chrissie is doing fine, but she isn't willing to share her popsicle with anyone!!!! Can't blame her after a six hour surgery which included taking out her gall bladder, bowel resection, and losing some of her small intestine. She is still recuperating in the hospital but may get released tomorrow. She wanted me to send big hugs and kisses to all and may be ready to share her popsicle in a few days, but for now, this is all she can get down.
She had a big surprise as Dr. Wiseman happened to be there to watch Drs. Redan and Reich operate and when he found out it was Chrissie that was being operated he came over to say hello.
She said Dr. Redan was very nice, polite and was on best behavior.
Let's all pray that this is the final surgery for her!!!! As you can see by what had to be taken out, that this surgery had to be done; there was so much internal damage going on that if she hadn't of had surgery it could have killed her.
