Dear Ladies:

Please be gentle. Dolores has indeed suffered the pain of adhesions, and is probably still suffering them in spite of having surgery within the past 6 months. I believe her purpose in posting this news release was simply that - to pass on to us a news release that had been sent to her from one of the other lists that she is on. I do not believe that the tone of the article was to condemn oxycontin or it's makers, just to point out that Purdue had not expected oxycontin sales to be this successful. Please note:

I don't see where this was a slam against oxycontin. I am also taking it, to a lesser benefit than you appear to be receiving, Em, but nonetheless, I am still an oxycontin patient.

Please do a search through the archives for previous posts by Dolores Touch or check the Adhesion Quilt for her story. I am sure you will see that Dolores was not knocking Oxycontin or Purdue.
