Dear Flick I think the best way is to find a specialist in removing adhesions. They have ways that help reduce the chance of reformation. The new spraygel that they are using in Germany shows wonderful results so far. I had intergel used on me Nov 2000 in Germany. It reduced 50% of my adhesions. I had seprafilm used on me locally Aug 2001. It did not help much at all. Of course, I got desperate & used a surgeon that was not a specialist. Of course, any exercise you can do will help. Also eating right will help keep intestines working & if you have adhesions on them, it should help reduce the strain on them. I have tried just about everything, but what doesn't work for one person, may work for another. good luck robin
