Dear Rose:

Chantale is in Canada, and here in Canada, the general mindset of the medical profession is just exactly that - adhesions don't cause pain because they don't have nerve endings. Period. No comments from the majority of the doctors about the organs and tissues that the adhesions are attached to and pulling on and the nerve endings involved there. We may have adhesions, but according to a large percentage of our doctors, the pain we are feeing and the bowel problems we are having are caused by IBS, not adhesions.

Oh Canada - Land of free medical and home of the uneducated doctors (Tongue in cheek here folks, there are some doctors who do believe that adhesions can and do cause disabling problems, but finding them is like pulling a hen's teeth.)
