Well welcome to the Drs who dont listen CLUB...unfortunately most of us
hee on this site have come up against the very same brick wall over and
over again.
My Advice to you regarding this is to research all you can about
adhesions..and then the next time you go to your Dr go armed..with pages
and pages of printed material ANY and ALL that you can find..and
especially i would fin the PAIN PATIENTS BILL OF RIGHTS and bring that
with you for sure...The last Dr that i had that didnt believe that
adhesions were my problem..and that adhesions DO NOT CAUSE PAIN..the
last time i saw her i took all of that with me..for her to read and when
i got home from her office i knew in my heart that i would never ever go
back to this Dr again..so i got all of the reading material i could find
regarding adhesions..and i faxed her 37 pieces of material...hehe and
for 10 days after that last visit..i faxed THE PAIN PATIENTS BILL OF
RIGHTS TO HER..
Plus a 5 page letter explaining to her what she had done and not done
while caring for me..or should i say caring for me on her terms or
excuse me..but a better term would be...NEGLECTING my medical
problems...
You just have to be persistant Barb..and never ever cut these Drs any
slack...because most of them never do give us a break huh..
And also i just had to keep changing Drs until i found one who would
listen to me and believe what i said.
I will definitely keep you in my prayers..
