Hi Sherry & Chrissie....

Leg pain would have to be one of my biggest challenges at the moment... right now, as I write this post - I am experiencing a pretty paid wave of it.

Mine starts in the groin and is quite sharp, hot and feels like the double edged sharp cut of a sword with hot steel! The pain travels up to my stomach tonight and I am doing those involuntry tummy crunches where my muscles are cramping which increases the pain and encourages some of the other really bad ones I get.

I have pain that travels downmy legs, I find it is getting worse. Mine is in several areas from inside my thighs, to an area further down my legs. I also have some very painful lines that run down the tops of my legs too. I am now wearing my surgical stocking.... used to keep the blood flowing and to reduce the risk of blood clots through inactivity during surgery and afterwoulds while in bed recovering. These stockings sometimes help with the oain.

I am finding that the wheelchair I borrowed from my dad to help me cope with a long information workshop and then a dinner meeting that night.... by the time I got back to the hotel room.... my pain was extreme and Shane had to lift my legs onto the bed and remove my shoes, socks & stockings.

Right now my pain is at the extreme it was several months ago when I required hospital rest & morphine injections... I think I will be back in there again within the nest day or tow if things don't improve.

I KNOW that my major blood vessels and nerves to my left leg are involved, that was confirmed during my last surgery. So it is quite reasonable to expect that if you are experiencong pain in your legs, than adhesions could very well be playing a big part in it!

So my friends, don't give up.... insist that your doctors do something to help you! I have an appointment with my surgical specialist in four weeks time... I just have to and in the mean time, there is my local doctor and hospital for pain relief if I really need it.

Good luck to both of you......
