Oh Cathy!

You had Shane & I in stitches! LOL It was JUST the kind of laughter medicine I needed yesterday..... I wasn't well enough to reply until now.

The Royal Hospital for Women here in Sydney is wonderful, the nurses are excellent and my doctors are awesome. Everyone is very excited about my surgery and we are all thinking very positive things!

My wonderful husband has been by my side since recovery Wednesday afternoon. My surgery happened all of a sudden, a cancellation gave them the opportunity to slip me into the space. SprayGel was quickly brought over to the hospital and everything organised within hours!

I have my own room with an ensuite & balcony & Shane can sleep in the room with me on a camp stretcher, that has been wonderful for me. So nice to have him here to help me through the painy bits. He will go home to Bathurst tomorrow (Sunday) and then return to Sydney when it is time to take me home. Everyone wants me wrapped in coton wool for the trip home....hmmm I wonder if we could arrange a police escort to avoid car accidents on the way home....LOL I am NOT having THAT happen this time around!

Thanks again for your good wishes and happy messages, I miss you all & can't wait to give you more details when I get home to Bathurst.

Love & gentle hugs, Joey
