Hello Neil, It is so nice to see that you are doing everything you can to help your wife. Having a supportive husband helps more than words can say, I know I couldn't have survived this without my husbands support! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kruschinski, and my trip to Germany for surgery. Figuring the cost may be alittle tricky, because we added some extra time for an anniversary vacation, and we went during the high travel season, but I'll do my best. My surgery, the second look, all hospital charges, and the hotel accomadations for 10 days cost us $8000 euro, which is pretty equal to the dollar. The hospital was state of the art, and extremely nice, very first class, the nurses were excellent, although they all told me they didn't speak english very well, I had no problem understanding them, and they were all very sweet and helpful. The surgeries all went extemely well, thanks to Dr. Kruschinski and his expertise. You will not find a more compassionate, caring, down to earth doctor. We told him I wanted to pack him up and take him home with me, he is like no other american doctor I've ever met, he doesn't talk to you like he is above you, if you know what I mean. The little town of Seligenstadt is very old world europe with cobblestone streets and old buildings, we enjoyed it enormoslly(sp?)!!! although you do have other options if you want somrthing more first class, Seligenstadt was perfect for us! I do have some liturature on the Emma-Klinik that they gave me if you're interested I would be happy to send it to you, and answer any other questions you may have, please don't hesitate to ask, I would love to talk more about my experiences in Germany! ANYTHING I can do!!!
