Dear Kris Ann You have come to the right place! Feel free to post all you want. I am on a time release med & meds for break through pain. I use oxycontin 80 2x a day and Vicodin for the break through pain. Having a combination of meds seem to help more than just one pain med. Maybe you can talk to your Dr about a combination of meds. I think most here are on more than one type. Also, a anti-inflamatory sometimes helps. Make sure you post your story on the quilt. I wish you luck. robin M
