Kris Ann,
I know what you mean about pain medicine. I haven't
found a Dr., yet, even a pain specialist ( the one I
went to was recommended on the Action Pain Web site,
He didn't know anything about adhesions), he just
prescribed PT for me! I haven't had a descent's night
sleep in almost three years! And my relatives are
complete idiots,( & my employer) they think
because I had surgery July 29, that I am cured! The
surgery did not relieve my pain ,in fact, I feel like
it just stirred up a hornet's nest. I guess I should
fall to the floor & scream @ the top of my lungs
in order for people to understand that I am in pain
despite looking & acting normal! I have an apt.
with my surgeon on Mon. because my employer is
threatening to cut off my disability if I can't prove
I'm in pain. As far as I know they have NOT invented a
pain meter, yet! So, I really empathize with you. Good
Luck!
Take Care,
Rita in AZ
