I agree with someone's earlier advice. This does sound like c-difficile and it can be extemely dangerous. I ran into this about 8 years ago...lost over 75 pounds in one month. I had to be treated with vancomycin for a couple of months...I don't know that my bowels ever returned to normal after this, but I can't say if it was the c-diff or all the surgery. Please seek the advice of another doctor.
