Laparoscopy Using a Laser on Adhesions - Is This a NO-NO

I just had a lap in July where a laser was used to remove the adhesions. And most people I know who get a laparoscopy have their endo and adhesions removed by laser. Is this a no-no? If so, what do the good surgeons use to remove the adhesions?
