Hi Laura,

You will find everyone telling you the same thing, heating pads, wheat packs etc are our best friends. Now that I am ADHESIONS PAIN free, my wheat packs are helping me cope with the pain from my not working bowel.....

I have also had a letter from Helen Dynda, one of our long serving ARD buddies.... and after her SprayGel surgery in Germany, she also had a problem with her bowel not working. Dr Korell advised her to eat yogurt, that one with the Aphedopholis (spelling ugh!) but what it means is our bowel have good bugs & bad bugs and when we take a course of anti-biotics, the good bugs can be killed off too. So I am now eating that yogurt to see if will help.

My wheat packs are my best friend and it won't hurt you providing you don't have them too hot next to your skin. It really is a case of trial & error & finding what works best for you. Sometimes alternating between heat & cold can help with pain too.

Love & warm gentle hugs, Jo
