You do need to remove your nails. They have have found that bacteria tends to
hide under artificial nails. Most hospitals have banned nurses from wearing
them. All this was discovered when newborn babies began to get sick and die
at a particular hospital and they traced the bacteria back to artificial
nails. You don't need to take any chances of an infection when you have your
