I am one of the Neurontin success stories. This drug gave me my life back after being in continual pain for over a year. The pain gradually subsided after I was put on Neurontin by my pain management doctor. I know the drug doesn't work for all people and some experience serious side effects, but I've never had any severe reactions except tiredness in the afternoon and some blurry vision. But that's a lot better than the alternative. I'm on 300 mg. three times per day, plus Celebrax and the tricyclic anti-depressant desapramine, all for pain. I think Neurontin is worth a try. You have to give it at least a month, though, to see whether it works for you. Best of luck!
