Not again

I have not written in a long time, but, I need some advice! I have had 4
sugeries this year for adhesions, 2 of them have been bowel obstructions
on my right side. My PCP put me on perm. disability and a drug
combination of Stadol and Valium (for the spasms in my colon) 4 times a
day. I told my surgeon that I did not want to have another surgery
unless I was blocked again.
Well, I woke up this morning with major pain in the same area and I have
not had a BM in 2 days, but I am still passing gas. Does anyone have
any solutions, I do not want to have surgery #32, as I am only 37 years
old.
Looking for words of wisdom.....
