Barb:

I had a complete hysterectomy a year ago this September. The symtoms that I have had since that time has been a swelling and inflamation feeling in the abdomen, particularly in the morning when I wake up. Of course all this past year they checked out everything... colonoscopy, bladder scope, IVP and CAT scan and found nother. This last September my OBGYN did a lap and discovered very thick adhesions. He was able to help by working for an hour and, using laser, cut the adhesions around the lower bowel. This has helped, in that I am no longer as incapacitated, however, he was unable to get the ones around the bladder and I still have that very swollen, inflammed feeling the in moring. Sometimes more than others. Also, I cannot sleep on my left side... it makes it much worse. So... yes, I can relate to that feeling.
